Jalapeno Poppers II

I have two recipes on here for jalapeño poppers – this is the 2nd one. I decided to post this based on the feedback from instagram. They are very similar to my other recipe though – just some minor changes. All I did was mix 1 cup cream cheese with 1 tsp chili powder and tsp cumin, salt/pepper – then topped it off with queso cheese, panko breadcrumbs, and cilantro.

  • 5 Jalapeno Peppers – Halved, with seeds scooped out
  • 1 Cup Cream Cheese
  • 1 TBS Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 Queso Cheese – Shredded
  • 1 TBS Cilantro – Chopped

  1. Pre-heat oven 400 degrees
  2. Mix cream cheese, chili powder, cumin, salt/pepper in a mixing bowl
  3. Scoop cream cheese mixture into each halved jalapeno
  4. Arrange on baking sheet lined with parchment pepper (for easy clean up)
  5. Top each pepper with queso and then panko
  6. Put in oven for 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden/melted
  7. Top with cilantro, serve
